Vaivén Collectors A.C. is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote, disseminate, and develop contemporary art in Mexico. An initiative of the visual artist Valerie Campos, Vaivén Collectors was born in February 2021, in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, to give visual artists in Mexico a platform that could support them in joining domestic and international circuits—and help them thrive there. At Vaivén Collectors A.C., we believe that Mexico possesses a long cultural tradition that deserves to be known worldwide, and that artists can make a living from their art if they have the tools and the necessary support to earn widespread and continuous recognition. We also believe in sharing knowledge regarding the management of art and culture, which is why we have a division dedicated to providing advisory on production processes, requests for sponsorships, and relocating works.
